What you don't want to do
Figure it out
Figuring out what you don’t want to do will give you more direction than figuring out what you want to do.
Knowing what you want to do is hard because there are countless things that could fascinate you. Then when you ponder, “what don’t I want to do?” you’ll have a visceral reaction to your answers. That’s telling.
When I was in my early 20s I knew that I didn’t want to commute to an office. I couldn’t bear the thought of wasting my time driving each day, so that left me no choice other than to go remote.
Laser in on the things that drive you nuts. You know what those things are. Next time you’re contemplating your options, try crossing the ones you don’t like off your list first.
